About NBR

On the 25th of April 2009, Prof. David David founded an idea of celebrating Nigeria’s excellent records and laundering of Nigeria’s international image with Nigeria’s best. He researched and put together a compendium of everything good about his country; hence after Nigerian Books of Record, NBR was conceived as a Book of Record synonymous to Guinness Book of Record. Today NBR has given birth to a Research Institute (Nigerian Books of Records Research Institute, Abuja).

It is an International Research Institute with research contents in several continent of the world; Africa, America, Europe, Asia, etc. with a simple goal of promoting Nigerian excellence.

Hardworking, zealous, industrious and selfless minds in some societies are celebrated as ethic exemplars, such individuals are elevated and positively positioned as role models for future generations to emulate their virtues and accentuate the value system of that society.

The foregoing analogy is the philosophy behind Nigerian Books of Record, to bring to the podium Nigerians who have made history and have carved a niche for themselves, their communities and Nigeria in their chosen field of human endeavors.

We are saddled with the responsibilities of celebrating patriotic Nigerians who have contributed gloriously and immensely to the growth and development of our Nation Nigeria. We are propelled with the passion and force to promoting excellence, integrity, creative minds and selfless icon in and outside Nigeria. We place high value, respect and qualitative premium on talented, gifted and intellectuals Nigerians who distinguished themselves in their chosen careers.

Our obligation is to expose, showcase and bring to lime light the hidden but brighten cynosures unnoticed in our neighborhood with unbridled interest.  We are poised differences.
