Event Summary:
The Event commenced with an amazing introduction of participants, partners and board members present by the first moderator Mahmooda Lowe- Chairperson at New Hope Foundation. An invocation recording by Dr Aman Bathla, Music Therapist, India was played by the media team. This was followed by an opening remark by Anthony Neale- GYMHA Chairperson. After which a group snapshot was taken by Rashi Goel-GAAME Chairperson.
In the second segment of the event, an amazing recording performance was presented by Dr Aman Bathla. This was followed by Awards presentations to different individuals by the award presenters. The 1st Award category was presented to the outstanding moderators of the year while the 2nd Award category was presented to the outstanding ambassadors of the year. Also, there was another amazing performance by the second artist of the day, Ambrose Robert Okune from Nigeria popularly known as RockyDee. This was followed by the 3rd Award category presented to the outstanding board member of the year and 4th Award category presented to the outstanding entrepreneur of the year.
In the third segment of the event, the third artist, Dolan Khan from India did an amazing performance. After this, the 5th Award category was presented to the outstanding partners of the year and the 6th Award category to the outstanding Board member adviser of the year. This session was followed by talk by one of our guest speakers, Amb. Adigun Temitayo- President/Co-Founder at Wheels of Hope Rising Foundation, Nigeria. After his speech, the 4th artist, Nika Suwarsih & Dancers – Maria, Nadia, Susie & Sophie did an amazing dance performance. The 7th Award category was presented to the outstanding leadership of the year, the 8th Award category to the outstanding humanitarian of the year and the 9th Award category to the outstanding volunteers of the year.
The fourth segment of this event was moderated by Gloria Madu- GAAME Secretary, GYMHA Ambassador and Project Support Officer. Our second speaker for the event, Ms. Rida Aleem Khan- Miss South Asia Australia, and GYMHA Multicultural Ambassador was introduced. She talked about how important our Mental health is and the role of multicultural leadership in communities and how grateful for organizations like GYMHA she had come across.
This was followed by an amazing performance by our 5th artist, Heaven’s Dove from Nigeria. After which the 10th Award category was presented to the outstanding educator of the year, the 11th Award category was presented to the outstanding guest speaker of the year. Furthermore, there was another amazing performance by our 6th artist, Richa Tripathi from India. This was followed by 12th Award category presented to the outstanding counselor of the year and the 13th Award category to the outstanding mentor of the year.
In the final segment of the event, the last artist, Solidspenzy from Nigeria did an amazing performance. This was followed by the 14th Award category was presented to the outstanding artist of the year and final Award category was presented to the outstanding volunteer’s impact of the year.
The event was indeed an exciting one. It ended with closing remarks by Rashi Goel- GAAME Chairperson, Co-founder at the Unicorn People, HR Consultant, and GYMHA Project Coordinator followed by vote of thanks said by the moderator after which a group snapshot was taken.
